Lavender Garden, Cameron Highlands

Driving along the road full with green pastures and fresh air, one could not miss the sight of Lavender Garden in Cameron Highlands.

Free car park for those who intend to visit Lavender Garden is definitely one of the plus points. After all, it is me being Malaysian and all kiasu type. Many people can be seen gathering at the entrance where some huge Strawberry was placed for visitors to get photos for memory. With not so long queue at the entrance ticket counter, I went ahead to get our entrance tickets. Entry Fee: MYR 10.00 for adult, MYR 7.00 for kids. I personally think that it is pricey. Let me know if you think the same? Well yes, we got free parking. But.. there's always a but....hhhmmm.

So the entrance walkway greeted us with a mesmerizing colorful of sights and smells. It is truly amazing to witness a sea of colorful ever-blooming flowers. and I was secretly jumping inside while trying to remain cool. It can be the most romantic place one could ever be. Or rather not. The feeling is up to you.

As we continue walking through Lavender Garden, we saw many locks were being locked up with love. That was when we had arrived the Love Lock area. Be sure to keep it safe. Moving on with our walk, turning left to the tunnel. A tunnel fully covered with naturally growing leaves ( or plant or flower, I am not sure which one ). Walking past it to go further up, you will walk by Lavender Cafe by Lavender Garden. Where you can enjoy their unique, lavender inspired cuisine. Based on what I can see, you can also get your scones and tea here. I prefer mine to be at the Boh Plantation instead of elsewhere. But that is a different story altogether.

Moving ahead of the crowd, there will be a souvenir shop where you can browse for a gift from a wide selection of items here. If you have time, I would recommend you to wait until you're ready to leave and get your souvenir from the gift shop just right before you made your exit from Lavender Garden as it is bigger and house more things to browse. Perfect for you to pick and choose.

If you are interested in picking your own Strawberries, you can consider doing it here itself at Lavender Garden. Charging by the basket, you can get all the Strawberries you want. It was closed during our visit in December 2017. Count yourself lucky if you wish to do it and you get to do it at Lavender Garden.

As for the Lavenders, I can relate to the smell only after walking further towards the Lavenders from Taiwan. Definitely it! No Doubt! Pronto! I can't help but flood myself by deeply smelling it. Aaaahh. Now that is Lavender in Lavender Garden.

We definitely bought some souvenirs and gifts from the shop before making our exit from Lavender Garden. It was a good visit to keep us occupied on this rainy day. Till then, see you!
