Krabi - Thailand

From Phuket, we made our way by land via bus to Krabi.

Note : We spent less than what we budgeted here.

2^nd  September 2011 Friday (DAY 1 )

Rise and shine / checkout – 5am

Left Phuket to Krabi:

1.     Tuk tuk to Phuket Bus stop  :   6am   -   70baht

2.     Take 1^st bus to krabi   : 7am  -   300baht

Overnight bus Phuket to Krabi.

3. Arrival at krabi    : 12noon – 1pm

- Purchase Bus ticket to Hat Yai  for 4th September 2011, 11pm : 250baht  / pax                       

- head to accommodation  -  50baht

             --  take local white minibus to accommodation - 50 mins

4. Check in hotel - J2B beach bungalows 
– Ao Nang beach :  600baht/night/room

- call hotel to pickup at the end of the beach as bus stops here : 200baht/head

 5.  Lunch    :  50baht – 100baht / pax

   

 6.  Khao Khanab Nam      :  300baht / pax

  - 15 minutes away by tail boat ride from the Chao Fa Pier

  -  Khao Khanap Nam, mangrove forests and Ko Klang fishery village

 -get to see the cave inside krabi landmark.

                                                                                                                         ***Note : We decided to leave on 1st September 2011 at night and arrive Krabi early morning. We put up a few hours in Mc Donald's before J2B arrive  to pick us up. We head off to island hopping before we return to check into our room.

3^rd  September 2011 Saturday (DAY 2)

Rise and shine  / Breakfast 6am-7.30am

**Bring swimwear /xtra clothes

1.      Krabi National Park    : 1100 - 1500bht / pax  -  lunch included 
--        Wat Tham Sua (Tiger Temple)   

                                

-        Thung Teao Forest - Crystal Lagoon   20baht – entrance fee included in the tour

-        Klong Thom Hot Springs 

        

-        Susaan Hoi (Shell Cemetery)    - not included in the tour.

2.      Krabi town / dinner / shopping : 500baht/pax

3.      Ao Nang Beach free and easy by night   :  At own expense.

   

TOTAL DAY 2 = 2200baht  

       4^th September 2011 Sunday (DAY 3)

Rise and Shine / Breakfast 7am

1.      Krabi 4 island tour/hopping   : 8am – 2pm : 450baht – Longtail boat / 800baht speedboat

**You may bargain and get 380 baht per pax for longtail boat.

-1st Stop Pranang Beach. Secluded peninsular, inaccessible by car. Just a short walk away is a Princess Cave with decorative spirit house. Free time for sun-bathing, swimming, photography, exploring.

- 2nd Stop Tup Island. Exotic tropical island, ideal for easy snorkelling and exploring on foot. If the tide is low, you can walk along the white, sandy causeway joining the neighbouring island.

- 3rd Stop Chicken Island. Natural landmark, named after the shape of its unique limestone rock jutting out into the sea. Excellent snorkelling opportunities in warm, inviting waters, rich in coral life.

- 4th Stop Poda Island. Stunning jewel of the Andaman Sea with both lowland, picturesque bamboo plantation and majestic, rocky cliffs, bordered by long, beautiful beach. Lunch at the beach and break.

2.  Lunch : Included in the island tour pricing.

3.   Railay Beaches & Caves :  100baht/head

- white sand beaches, soaring limestone cliffs, viewpoints, caves and a lagoon hidden inside the cliffs,           shaped and fed by the changing  tides.

- All within walking distance!

-        If  above is not your cup of tea, you may opt for sunset kayak in Ao Nang beach itself! – Price to inquire.

Transport to Krabi bus stop:  10pm – 10.30pm     :    100baht/pax

TOTAL DAY 3 = 1200baht

Conclusion : GRAND TOTAL KRABI  = 4400baht
